A Gentle Reset for Skin, Space, and Self

March is not a month I rush.
Even though it carries the promise of spring, it often arrives quietly—still cool, still tender, still in transition. Over the years, I’ve learned that forcing renewal during this time only creates imbalance. March asks for something softer.
Not transformation yet.
Not correction.
But listening.
Early Spring Is a Season of Listening
Skin has a way of speaking before we consciously notice the shift.
In March, I often see:
dehydration that appears as dullness
sensitivity that feels emotional, not just physical
skin that resists “more,” and responds better to less
This is the in-between season—where the skin is recovering from winter, but not yet ready for the lightness of spring. Adding too much can feel tempting, but balance often comes from restraint.
A gentle cleanse.
Hydration that truly absorbs.
A pause between steps.
Sometimes, the most supportive thing we can do is allow the skin to settle.
Ritual Over Routine
I don’t believe in rigid routines—especially now.
March rituals are meant to be responsive:
adjusting to how your skin feels that day
honoring changes in weather, sleep, and stress
choosing presence over perfection
Some days your ritual is a full sequence.
Some days it’s simply misting your face, taking a breath, and being done.
Both are valid.
Both are care.
A Quiet Shift Behind the Scenes
In my work, March is a month of refinement.
I have slow production.
I revisit formulas.
I pay closer attention—to texture, absorption, and how the skin feels hours later.
This quieter pace is intentional. It’s often where meaningful changes begin—not loudly, but steadily.
If January was intention and February was patience, then March is trust.
Trusting that growth doesn’t need to be rushed.
Trusting that consistency doesn’t need to be visible.
Trusting that what is cared for gently will last.
An Invitation for the Month Ahead
As we move closer to spring, I invite you to treat March as a reset—not a restart.
Notice what feels supportive.
Release what feels heavy.
Let your rituals meet you exactly where you are.
Your skin remembers how to find balance.
Sometimes it simply needs the space to do so.
Nurture Your Skin and Soul
with love and light,
Coco
