Embracing Milestones & Glowing Skin in Late Summer

ree

As summer winds down and autumn quietly approaches, this season always feels like a bridge — a time of reflection and preparation. It reminds me that while the sun has been intense and sometimes unkind to my skin, there’s also so much growth, gratitude, and wisdom to be celebrated.

For me, late summer isn’t about endless sun-chasing; it’s about slowing down, caring for my skin, and honoring the milestones that shape who I am. Protecting my skin from further sun damage is a non-negotiable, but equally important is acknowledging the journey that got me here.

Protecting Your Skin in Late Summer

  • Sunscreen is non-negotiable. Even as days grow shorter, UV rays remain strong. Apply SPF 30+ every morning and reapply if you’re outdoors for extended periods.

  • Hydrate deeply. Long days in the sun can leave skin parched. My go-to is layering with AROMATIC TONER followed by ESSENCE (moisturizer) to replenish and protect.

  • Soothe with antioxidants. Ingredients like vitamin C, green tea, and chamomile calm inflammation and help repair sun-exposed skin. A few drops of TIMELESS (facial oil) also help restore balance and radiance.

  • Be gentle. Skip harsh exfoliation if you’ve had a lot of sun exposure. Instead, choose mild options that renew without stripping.

Celebrating Milestones with Gratitude

For me, this season holds special meaning — a reminder of the steps I’ve taken, both personally and professionally. Late summer is not only a time to protect my skin but also to pause and appreciate resilience, growth, and the small victories along the way.

Maybe for you, it’s about celebrating your own journey: how far you’ve come, what you’ve learned, or even just the fact that you kept showing up for yourself.

As we move toward autumn, let’s embrace this balance — caring for our skin with gentleness while also nourishing our hearts with gratitude.
