I have to admit — since the pandemic started, I haven’t worn much makeup. But I do occasionally use my eyebrow brush, which means I can’t ignore one thing: keeping my brushes clean.
How about you? How often do you clean your makeup brushes? And how do you do it?
Why Clean Brushes Matter

Many of us don’t pay much attention to how we clean our brushes. We might use any cleanser, forget to rinse thoroughly, or let residue linger. But dirty brushes take longer to dry, can feel rough (like a broom!), and most importantly — they can harbor bacteria that affect your skin health.
Using clean brushes is essential to maintaining clear, healthy skin.
My New Favorite Tool
I’ve seen those brush-cleaning machines that spin water to clean brushes, but after some research, I never felt convinced to buy one. Then I found the simple silicone cleaning tool, as shown in the photo. I was skeptical at first, but curious enough to order one.
OMG — I love it! 💕
It’s inexpensive, easy to use, and works beyond my expectations. I even use it for cleaning my fluffy powder sponge, and it works just as well.
